Skills Training and Game Play for 4 and 5-Year-Olds

Our popular Lil’ Blues program for 4 and 5-year-olds teaches our youngest athletes the foundation of the proven Blues FC Soccer Curriculum.

In Lil’ Blues, our professional, experienced trainers use games, obstacle courses, and other age-appropriate activities to teach the kids:

• Basic foot skills
• Dribbling and passing
• Motor and balance exercises

At Blues FC, we believe kids of every age best learn the fundamentals of the Blues FC brand of soccer by playing, so the Lil’ Blues program includes plenty of small-sided games at every session.

Our trainers maintain a fun and positive environment where players are encouraged to challenge themselves, learn from their mistakes, and build confidence through their successes.

Lil’ Blues provides families and children new to soccer professional training, an age-appropriate curriculum, and an introduction to the Blues FC club identity and culture often missing from other youth programs.

Program Details

For 2024, we will be offering two seasons of Lil Blues. The spring season will contain 2 sessions and will be finished just before tryouts in May. Summer/Fall season will start back up again in August and run through till Nov (3 sessions). Players can register for individual sessions, Summer/Fall, or the entire program.

Season 1 (Spring)

• Session 1: March 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29, - April 1, 5
• Session 2: April 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 - May 3

Season 1 (Summer/Fall)

• Session 3: Aug 19, 23, 26, 30, Sept 6, 9, 13, 16 (No session, Sept 2 due to Labor Day)
• Session 4: Sept 20, 23, 27, 30 -  Oct 4, 7, 11, 14
• Session 5: Oct 18, 21, 25, 28, Nov 1, 4, 8, 15 (No session, Nov 11 due to Veterans Day)
